We have a few leaves around our house.
"Few" would be like saying Twilight might have a "few" people go see the new movie this weekend. {BTW, I'm not at all into it. Should I be?}
While Jason took to the yard with his Ghostbuster-backpack-looking leaf blower, he made some fun piles for the boys.
And that made Saturday the perfect fall day.
The boys got to hang out,
Spend a little time climbing,
Explore together
And have a little air time {note the starting distance needed for that air}.
I also made a slight observation that I had known was true all along!
Other than my slight grass envy, our morning was perfect and I am very thankful for the time to play with my kiddos shining in all their boyhood.
One more of my flying man:
Have you taken time to jump in the leaves, yet?
* The origin of that title? It's from Biff in Back to the Future, of course.
As any good Michael J. Fox crushee from the 80s would know!
P.S. Yesterday's post was so much fun! But even more fun were all the comments.
Y'all had me laughing all day long. I LOVE your comments. Thank you for the time to leave them! And they are surely the best part of that post! Go read them if you haven't already!

Or you can say..."make like a tree and leaf"! ;)
Once again, absolutely ADORABLE photos you captured!
So fun!
No, Twilight is not all that it's cracked up to be. Don't bother.
And finally, how is it that you have so many FB fans? You are just awesome, my friend! :)
what fun! I love all your snazzy pics! I hope everyone is doing well :) Hope to see you guys soon!
How cute! My kids get that long distance run before the big jump too, I think it makes them jump higher ;)
My grass looked like that last year too...this year I am making up for it, I raked the leaves twice already this year. Make'n up for lost time.
Hi! I'm finally catching up today on some blog reading. I've been MIA for a bit...from your blog, from my blog, from all logical thought processes....it's been a busy time around here. Hopefully I'll do some reading today and get back in the game. Sorry to add that we have no leaves, but it sure looks like fun. I'm told you have to have trees to have leaves and since there aren't any of those in my neighborhood, we are leafless which translates to without leaves:( My children are leafpile virgins. How sad is that?
question...how do you get dear hubby to do that...clear the leaves? Just curious :) And last time I remember seeing what lies beneath our carpet of leaves...you would win the grass envy competition if we were neighbors. I'm not even sure if there is any grass under there at all!
Your posts are too awesome! :]
I haven't gotten into Twilight, either... although I must admit I've entertained the idea of renting the first one this week, to see if I like it enough to hit the theater this weekend. If I decide to do that, I'll let you know!
If you're thinking about getting into Twilight, read the books before you see the movies. And perhaps think of stopping before you get to the last book.
Your grass would TOTALLY beat our grass in a grass competition, also.
oh how i loved jumping in the leaves when i was little! it is one ofthose things i miss for my kids... seeing as how there are no leaves like that here... nevermind no "fall!" you caught some great shots of thoe boys! yahoo!
i quit jumping in leaves when the boy next door peed in the pile i had made...obviously i did not know it until it was too late...
Such great photos! My boys are 9 and 4 and I love seeing them interact and play together. Lasting memories!
And PS: Don't tell anyone, but I read all four Twilight books and didn't really enjoy them. However, I did see the first movie, so I'm sure I'll go see the new one too!
Beautiful photos, beautiful boys!!!
Mrs. NB
I got the job right away and love the pics.

You make my day!
I'd hug you, but this screen makes it a little awkward.
