Owen is really into the ABCs- or Bay-Bee-Sees lately. We have the big foam mat that is a puzzle with the punch out letters of the alphabet that he always asks to play with. (This is wonderfully entertaining until you have to clean it up. I would not buy it again, but he loves it SOOO much. See his love here <---.)

And he's started to sing the ABCs all the time. It's really funny when he picks up in the middle and you can tell he's been singing some other portion in his head. He does this with a lot of songs and we're left trying to figure out what he's singing-- more times than I can count in a day.
After his nap today during afternoon snack, I caught him on video rolling through the bay bee sees and started filming about half way through the first go around. And then, when he's almost done with the second... well, you'll see what happens. Let's just say he gets distracted by shiny objects- a little like his mom. I don't want to build it up too much, but I was trying hard not to laugh. Enjoy! (This video is about a minute.)

That is precious! First, that pretty boy is your mini-me. Second, I have that mat set and it is always falling apart. However, we did put it all together on the floor for a while and gave M a litte light-up hammer and asked him to find the A and he would hammer it. This helped him learn his letters while getting to hit things.
We have that light up hammer, too! I'll have to try that! Good tip, D!
