I say, confession cleanses the soul of the offender... and chubby cheeks warm the soul of the prosecutor...so call it a day and give that boy a hug from me! (ya..I know he doesn't know me, but give that boy a hug FOR me! He's so darn cute!!!)

Sounds more like he was trying to pin the blame on you. A mastermind in the making to be sure. Therefore..."HILLARY! Lay off drawing on the cabinets!!! I know how much you enjoy it, but it's just not fitting!"

That video is adorable. You were so calm! Did you count to 10 before you wrote this? lol

You are wayyyyyyyyy too calm about this. Wowzer, girlfriend! Love your attitude!

Too cute to be guilty!

I think he was caught red (crayon) handed. He should be charged with impersonating a Sears cabinet refacing technician.

But then, what jury is going to throw the (coloring) book at this cutie pie?

so you have red crayoned cabinet doors... and i had purple crayon colored grout in my bathroom. it is the eyes that get you every time! my mad did last a bit longer though... never did get that completely out. i wonder if the people who bought the condo were mad when they saw the bathroom bath-mat free...

I hear the Magic Eraser gets out *anything*. My child is too perfect to ever draw on cabinets, so I wouldn't know. (NOT! I know you've only seen my child wearing her very sweet at church personality, but lemme tell ya...) Hope the rest of your kitchen decor goes with red crayon. :-)

Been there, done that.. but with permanent marker on my suede couches :)

Too Cute to be Guilty!

WD-40 and a soft cloth will remove crayon marks from cabinet doors. It will also remove melted crayon from the inside of the dryer. Better still, it can do magic and get the melted crayon out of the jean pocket that was IN said dryer!!

...ask me how I know, and I may tell you about the toad in the washing machine a few years back...

Wow - no remorse with that guy, huh? :) I particularly love how he said it's blue. Annalyn's first response when asked is PINK. She thinks everything is pink. What a girl.

Did a baby wipe or magic eraser get it off the cabinet??

Way too cute, Hillary. Just way cute. No other words. :)
I just wanted to squeeze his cheeks!

He's just too cute to be overly guilty. And so honest. :) I love his blue dinosaur!

Very cute...going along with the theme of this post I thought I would pass this along...I'm not sure if you read anything by John Rosemond, but a year ago I had a friend invite me to hear him speak in our home town. He said the following "2 year old children are the embodiment of all criminal and antisocial behavior". I was 7 months pregnant with my daughter at the time and began reading his books to get a head start on my little criminal!

Guilty as charged but too cute to pay the fine!

My son never drew on walls or cabinets but I have a Thomas the Tank sticker permanently affixed to my dining room table!

Hmmmm, oh my goodness, your beautiful cabinets!!! But way too cute, I couldn't have gotten on to him!

Amy Kennedy said...

Oh he is way too cute to be mad with!! And so proud of his blue dinosaur. Good for you for being such a trooper too! Try the mr. clean magic eraser. It will take care of all the evidence!

Rebekah said...

Awww....how can you prosecute that? :)

Ms. Elaine said...

Way to cute to be guilty! Just clean with a Mr. Clean eraser and you will only have the video memory!

Becky said...

yeah, in my house they are guilty no matter how cute. cause cute is a given. they can't help the cute. they can help the distruction. but i'm mean. but that is ultra precious.

Oh my goodness!! That is hilarious! IT reminds me of the time my boys colored each others faces with a green marker. I mean COVERED!! They said they were monsters. I about died trying to get it off of them! You'll be so glad you got that on video!

Oh, Henry!!! You just didn't know you were coloring on the cabinet...did you?
However, when your mommie was 3 and did that to her bedroom furniture, she got a spanking!! and she had to help clean it up!! She was very sweet to you today---on camera--that is!! Love you so much, you don't need a spankin'!!

Incredibly cute, and very good at deflecting blame. He might grow up to be a lawyer! :) And boy are you calm!!

I love your accent! Great video - he's too cute to punish, I agree!

Lindsey said...

awesome! i have used many a magic eraser in my day. the walls by the kids table in the kitchen are just deemed "disgusting". and they might stay that way until they get old enough to paint:). and i concur, too cute!

Carrie said...

Notice how he never said that he wouldn't do it again? I think I may stock up on magic erasers if I were you! ;-)

Love that sweet boy!

I don't think I could have recorded my response to this crime! You must have patience or something else I need to learn about.

Give it up. He's won. Hands down!

Michelle said...

I was dying laughing at this & tried to explain it to my husband because I was cracking up so much. I think my favorite was the second time you were trying to get him to say cabinet and he said "dinosaur!" LOL. Too funny. I hope that never happens in our house!

Donna said...

I am in love with this chubby-cheeked baby. And your kitchen is green so I think a "blue" dinosaur goes right along with it.
